Canton Helpline

The Department of Elder & Human Services screens and completes an intake for social service calls for the Canton Helpline.  Callers are assisted by a social worker and may be referred to appropriate resources. The Canton Helpline’s fundraising supports those in need with fulfilling basic necessities such as food, clothing, and transportation when applicable through our Direct Services Program. In addition, financial assistance is available to help with utility bills, fuel costs, and other miscellaneous expenses through the Canton Helpline’s fundraising.  The Canton Helpline is unable to offer financial assistance in paying rent or mortgage, but we may be able to refer to resources that can help.

All calls are confidential.

Donations are tax-deductible and our EIN# is 22-2585336.
